ABOUT THE EVENT:
A hunter pace is a mini version of a day in the hunt field without the hounds. There will be a flagged course of about five miles through hunt country (woods, creeks and open fields) for jumping and non-jumping teams. Teams may consist of two to four riders and will ride over a course simulating hunting conditions: i.e., trotting, galloping, walking and checks (stops).

The team closest to the optimum time - (without going over) set by the officials will be the winner. Awards will be given for 1ST thru 3RD place finishers in the Jumping, Non-Jumping, Family, and Best Turned Out Divisions. Awards will be given out at the BBQ Lunch.

The start times will be between 8:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. Teams will be sent out at 3 minute intervals. We will make every effort to schedule your start time as requested.

You may call or email Laura Wilhem for Questions, and Ride Times after Monday, August 8th at (502) 938-8051 or Laurawilhem@yahoo.com. Post-entries, those received after August 8th will ride at the discretion of the organizer.

BBQ Lunch will begin at 12:30 P.M. Awards presented at 1:30 P.M. Tickets are $20.00 per person (not included in entry fee).
